Nicollet Partners is a real estate appraisal and consulting firm. The company was established in 2001 with the merger of Lunz, Massopust, Reid and DeCaster (LMRD) and Kramer, Geisler, and Strand (KGS).

The hallmark of Nicollet Partners is that the firm’s unique blend and depth of expertise enables it to provide a superior degree of research, analysis, and communication of the results than typically found in the market. The firm is controlled by principals whom all have earned the MAI designation​ from the Appraisal Institute. In order to obtain the MAI designation the principals had to pass rigorous education requirements, pass a comprehensive examination, submit specialized experience which must meet strict criteria, and receive credit for a demonstration report. MAI members must also conduct their professional activities in accordance with the Appraisal Institute’s Code of Professional Ethics and are subject to a peer review process. MAI members are also required to adhere to strict continuing education requirements to ensure they are up-to-date with the evolving real estate field. All of the principals also hold a General Certified Appraiser License in Minnesota as well as in some other states.
